Emrah Kotan at the Velvet Note

Emrah was a student I took into GSU directly off the street outside the entrance to my studio in the basement of the Rialto Theater. I snuck him in for lessons and the percussion ensemble and got him into Gordon Vernick’s big band without the Sof M knowing a thing. Then convinced the administration to give him a graduate music scholarship into my percussion division with the help of some great secretary help!!
